Samantha Mohr
Mohr, who was a UGA student who advised her that she enter her in the Miss Columbus 1985 pageant, she won the contest. Mohr became eligible to be a part of Miss Georgia. Miss Georgia pageant, which began in June. Mohr took home the title on June 22, 1985. Her earnings were more than $3,500 in scholarship money and other prize money from the state pageant. Her activities as Miss Georgia included public appearances at places across Georgia. Mohr represented Georgia at Miss America 1986 in Atlantic City (New Jersey) in September of 1985. Mohr was able to predict that Susan Akin would win Miss America through computer-generated modeling. His odds of success were 22:1. Mohr didn't make the cut as a top-10 contender to win the title of national champion. Mohr's reign being Miss Georgia Miss Georgia continued until Marlesa Ball was crowned Miss Georgia 1986.
